I just finished putting together a full breakdown of the most popular drop-in turbos for the FK8, FL5, and Integra Type S — MHI, RV6, 27WON, PLM, Spoon, HKS, etc.


Not vendor hype. Not cherry-picked dynos. Just what these turbos typically make in the real world depending on fuel, mods, and tuning.

Nice write up Tom! A lot of useful information. It's nice how you give recommended supporting mods for each turbo.

Thanks, appreciate it man! I’m just trying to help people with the most common questions and keep things as unbiased as possible. It’s hard not to throw my own opinion in sometimes, but I do my best to stay fair by relying on customer feedback, reviews, and real data instead of just personal preference.

I'm using the normal RV6 660 turbo.
At the time of tuning, I got 424whp on 93 octane (building the motor early next year)

Mods at that time:
RV6 660 Turbo
RV6 Catted Downpipe
Wagner Intercooler
Airtec Intake
Milltek Exhaust

yes. Don't worry, just temporary lol. I should start with the new motor build next month. So hopefully by March I'll have the fully built motor in

right lol, I'm pressing my luck I'm sure. I'm thinking of going back to the dyno to just see if there's any significant gains since I upgraded to the Cobb intake...to show if there really is any gains at all.
