I guess I'm like the exhaust whisperer at this point. I ended up getting the HKS Hi-Power to try it out.

I do like this exhaust and glad some things I was worried about weren't an issue for me.

1. I was worried it would be too loud with my RV6 catted downpipe...it's not surprisingly
2. Worried the tips stuck out too much. Seems it's the pics that make it appear that way. I did take some wide angle shots that exaggerate it a bit. In person, barely see them. I know the pics might say other wise, but I had to of course purposely get the angles I got.
3. Drone. I worried the drone would be similar to Invidia R400. But to my surprise it was fine. There is a tad, above 66mph. But nothing that isn't unbearable. I'm running RV6 Catted downpipe, so it's good in my book.

Here's some pics/vids
Edit: Pics below, I have to link the vids apparently, can't upload the vids lol

Cruising POV of the HKS Hi Power:

Short Clip of "Launching"...I don't really launch my car, so this is what I got lol. I need to find a better spot for the mic above the exhaust. I had it at the license plate facing up...still get some distortion, even with the mic at -15db:

Cruising Sound Clip:

Short Revs:

This vid is longer, just goes over the piping size if anyone cares for that:

I saw your YouTube short yesterday as recommended, and let me tell you the exhaust sounds good. You putting the measurements is also very good so people can see what they want to install. The tip coloring looks great on a black car, to be honest. Any other color except the blue and that is the one I have, of course, in my opinion.

How’s the drone around 4500 rpm? I had one on my FK8 with that same downpipe and the drone on track was unbearable.

Nice review! Definitely one of the popular HKS exhausts, just hard to get.

Like almost every exhaust for this car it sounds "pretty good" which is all we can ask for I guess. Dude how many friggin' exhausts have you tried for your car ?

Sounds great, mine should be here end of the month, I'm still stock turbo and down pipe though.

Seriously, do you have a shop or distributor you work with? I'd love to help you out with discounts so you're not paying full pop for these.

I didn't pay attention to the rpma, but mainly the mph. At 66 to about 80mph there is drone when your going slightly uphill.
I could see this drone a lot at the track though. I'm running rv6 catted downpipe.

For me, so far after a couple days, the only drone I get isn't too often for daily driving and has bothered me. The drone from r400 invidia drove me nuts at all rpms and mph
