It’s an oil change and transmission fluid change kind of day. Getting this done before it rains all next week.

Welp, while buttoning everything up, I forgot to put on a new crush washer for the transmission drain plug. Found the old one sitting at the bottom of the drain pan when I was disposing the old fluid. 🤦‍♂️

Bummer! I bet you can pull the plug with one hand, quickly plug the hole with a finger or thumb on your other hand, then place the washer on and quickly swap the plug back in. You should have enough fluid left in the third quart bottle to make up for whatever you loose during the switcharoo.

Yeah, I thought about trying to do that, but I'm being lazy and really dont feel like removing the stock air box again. lol

Just gonna keep an eye on it and if it starts seeping I'll put a new crush washer in then.

For the first time since I got the car, December 31, I got the hand wash it today! And put a coat of ceramic on it.

Did a rear duck bill lip and wing delete kit, and put on and my front lip. I like the look but might get the original wing paint matched and reinstalled. But looks good for now.

Any pics from the rear?

Any issues getting up on them? I have a project aero lip, and was wondering if they’d be too steep?
I dont have issues, but I'm stock height and dont have aero. You can always do what some people do and get some 2x4s and put them under the wheels to get on the ramp if you are lowered or have aero.

Dude, that is so clean! I was looking at 996/997's a couple of years ago, glad to see someone pulling the trigger on a beauty. Congrats!
