Thanks for the write up. Got mine installed this weekend. Easy job, maybe two or three hours tops. I was able to get away with just undoing the two exhaust hangers nearest the sway bar.

Going to end up doing FK8 front springs. I have the 11th gen si specific swift springs but the drop seems like it’s more than 1”. I’m getting too old to be driving sideways to avoid scraping my front bumper :( the roads here suck.

After how many years I finally installed the FK8 springs on my 10th gen Si and I love it. A real OEM+ upgrade without introducing any NVH. The ride height as expected went up a tiny bit but I’m sure will settle with time. Thanks again to OP @DYI01 for the motivation and info. Here’s my thread on civicx if anyone is interested.

I didn't know springs are interchangeable between Type R and non-R. I see different part numbers for aftermarket springs. Whiteline is the only company that states compatibility.
Physically the springs are generally interchangeable but it’s the much higher spring rates on the aftermarket CTR springs that won’t make it work well on non-R. Luckily the OEM CTR rates are within the working range for the Si dampers.

On the si and type r's rear bushings add a lot of stiffness to rear suspension. 11th Gen si has stiffer springs than fl5, but I reckon fl5 has stiffer bushings. Bushings add extra spring rates, people generally dont account for. Once I installed eibach rear camber arm and lower control arm with spherical joints, rear suspension became much softer, even with 300lb rear springs.
