Just installed the intake with the updated red MAF tube. Has anyone else had issues trying to get the MAF tube and velocity stack aligned?

There's two clamps that secure the silicone hose to the MAF tube and velocity stack. The issue I encountered is that there's not much space, and the clamps get squished against the rubber opening on the heat shield. It kinda throws the entire intake alignment off, and makes it difficult to seat everything properly. For me, the MAF side clamp isn't really clamping anything because it's resting on the narrow section of the MAF tube (since it has a taper). I assume I just need to keep adjusting my setup to make it align better. Look at the two pictures below and notice the gap/clearance:

Hey man yes you just need to keep adjusting it and twisting it etc to get it perfect I did the intake side first then hooked up to the inlet pipe last

Yes people have but there's a V3 coming at some point this July.

V3 looks like the final fix i believe. 1% of the people had issues with the other and it seemed to be the DE5's tbh. If your tuned its not an issue. They listened to me and did plastic housing now and its a one piece. no space for it to leak now. V3 cominig in July yes. this is it below. They spent over 20k redeveloping this and manufacturing them

"Unfortunately, the delivery time of the V3 pipe will be postponed to September.

We will ship it out once it is replenished. Really appreciate your patience."


I'm just confused it's 2026, I'm confused why MST cannot just provide emails to those affected with a group email? They never really have clear concise a
communications either. Especially with continued change of deadlines.

Like is the delay due to manufacturing / material availability or still requiring continue testing due to still having faulty trims?

Do they just hope eventually we will go away LOL I don't know a lot of questions not a lot of answers

I am beyond frustrated with them and they are only hurting themselves not me. Its their reputation on the line. They do not answer emails to anyone and keep giving the run around when they do. They are moving to Texas soon guess people will have to show up there for answers.
