These clutch kits use SPEC's proprietary design and must be paired with one of their flywheels. The result is a clutch kit that comfortably holds large amounts of torque, both on the track and the street. We have been testing the Stage 3+ setup, rated for 553 ft lbs and have found it to be very street friendly! (More so than the FX350 we previously had experience with)

All current options are paired with SPEC's aluminum flywheel, which weighs in at 11.2lbs, just under 20lbs lighter than the factory dual mass flywheel! A bit of added drivetrain noise is present at low RPMS under low loads after shaving this much weigh off the flywheel. If you are particular sensitive to noises such as this, you may want to wait for the soon to be available steel option. The steel flywheel will be a bit heavier, sacrificing a small amount of performance for the reduction/elimination of drivetrain noise.

No check engine lights or "misfire detection system" errors were encountered with this lightweight combo.

Was the car flashed to Honda Factory Tune when testing for said CEL? (no tuning solution)
How hard was the car pushed?
Did you have to adjust the clutch pedal?

It has not been tested on a completely un-tuned vehicle, however the misfire detection system disable that Ktuner allows was NOT utilized, and no error was present.

The car has been pushed hard, but truth be told, nowhere near the 553 ft lbs this clutch is rated for.

The clutch pedal did have to be adjusted. I would expect this with any performance clutch upgrade on this vehicle. It is a very quick and easy thing to do.

Ie. If i got a stage 2 to start with, but ended up wanting a stage 3+ or higher, they'd all be compatible with the same flywheel replacement?

Yes those ratings are at the flywheel, I’d add about 15% to roughly convert from wheel torque.

So are these clutch discs bigger then the factory disc ?Cause they hold so much more torque ,there's more into it then just a replacement clutch .
@ Two Step Performance did you figured out why your clutch didn't gave a cell and other do ? Is it in the flywheel weight or design or ...?

Could you describe the drivetrain noise that you referenced in your write-up? Is it a chatter at idle, or certain vibrations? Would be hesitant to buy without seeing a video of it, to better understand whether it would be tolerable or not.
