That might work better with the blue for me as it would tie the red in nicely. I think the blue looked better on the FK8, probably because it had the colour to the wing mounts/side fins and the red pinstripe around the side skirts, front splitter and rear diffuser. Hard to know unless I could see it done and in person.God damn Boost Blue looks so good! Add a paint matched wing, and put some red trim on the skirts and lips and I think I'm going to really like this Type-R
I did. It worked terribly. HahaAnyone played with AR mode yet on their phone? You can plop the car in your driveway if you wanted. You can also put it on your bed if you're into that kinda thing![]()
Let’s just hope we are lucky enough to get to choose lolCan't decide between boost blue and championship white.
Well for the 100 of you that get to choose, congrats! For the remaining 6000 of us, it won’t be as easy.Lucky to get to choose LOL. This always blows my mind when US members say this. I expect to choose as a normal part of buying a new car. In the UK it would be really abnormal and unacceptable not to choose.
Lol what!Sadly we will be at the mercy of whatever shows up I guess. Originally I was gonna go with just an Si, but my Honda dealer ended up emailing me, after I went in for test drive only to find none in stock, that stated, "we are treating the Si like the Type R due to high demand and no stock, so no test drives without a down payment". Figured, well f@*k you, I'll just wait for the CTR and get it from the other Honda dealer in town. What kind of bullshit is this "no test drives for the 1.5 model only because it's manual"? They then proceeded to tell me they will have 2 Si's in stock in Sept, but both will be Sonic Grey. I'll wait for the CTR, and maybe build it online (if that'll even get to be an option for us) so I can get the color of my choice and options. We shall wait and see.
Yep, that's what they told me. Made me not want to waste my time with Honda. Then the Type R was revealed. Will go to a different dealer though.Lol what!
Down payment to drive a car?
Crazy.
I fully expect to buy my Type R without ever having driven it. Where I live, the dealers hold all the cards (at least for these types of cars). If you don’t play ball, the guy standing behind you in line will.Lol what!

If a customer asked to test drive before finalizing... I'm okay with that. The logic of the guy behind you still applies.I fully expect to buy my Type R without ever having driven it.
