  • What do you like about the color you got? ... and was it your first choice?
  • Post a picture of your car if you have a pic.
  • What location (State or Country) are you in?
Thanks for voting in the poll!
I'm in Ohio
I would have gone with a white or red but found a black which I like.

I really like all of the FL5 colors and I thought about switching it up coming from a CW FK8 but as a Honda guy CW is just such a special color being unique to the Type R, and its racing heritage. I had a choice between CW, BB, and SGP. They really wanted to make a deal on the SGP as it was a model year 23' but I took the white.

For what it's worth, the Motoring Obsession tracker shows a breakdown of the colors reaching the US, organized from most common (CW) to least common (RR).

This. And there's nearly an identical thread someone started last year.

:(

Well, the idea is; the poll tells the story at a quick glance. If you have a good memory and calculator I guess plowing through the whole thread is fine. :dunno:

*edit*

So I did plow through the whole thread from last year and it was interesting hearing stories of how different members here got the color they got, even if it wasn't what they wanted and what their interaction was with the dealers as far as marked up priced and so on. So some good reading never the less! :headbang:

Well... since we hardly have any control over what color we get, the "most popular" colors are the colors we can get our hands on.... and the color of the cars we get our hands on are controlled by what colors Honda sends out to their dealers.

The better question would be....
"Regardless of what color you currently own.... what is your favorite FL5 color?"

If you want the colors that exist in the world -- here is that map info...

That is good info that you and Runnin posted... I didn't see the proper page at first.

I was wondering about the manufacturing side as well and it explains the numbers in the poll. Thanks!

CW, zero colour choices north of the 49th...it's a take it or leave it type of deal if youre fortunate enough to get your number called...love it but I think it pops most in RR...I'm getting it stealth ppfd so let's see how it turns out...

Yeah, they all look good. I would have gone for a white if I could find a good deal but now I'm sort of happy with the black as it looks good and there aren't as many of them. You'd figure a car like this would be popular in red but that seems to be the rarest of colors. :what:

How hard would it be to buy one in the USA and have it imported to Canada? (but then you give up the heated seats).

Champ white CTR! It was my first choice. I was about to place a down payment on a blue one until a dealer called and offered a brand new CW with minimal accessories. I am in Philadelphia PA. Go Birds!

With ceramic and ppf it's incredibly easy.... until the pollen starts
Agreed. The ceramic coat on my car makes it a whole lot easier to clean, but I clean it frequently due to dust. If only I could go for a drive without getting bird poop/piss and bug guts on it.

Anywho, black is my favorite color and at the time I was thinking I’ll just get any color and be happy. Luckily, I came across a black one and fell in love 😍.

This car in particular with all the red accents looks so good in black. I was about two months away from buying an ITS when this black one popped up in my area for a great deal. Any other color I would have just waited for the ITS. Love what you're doing to your car and I'll be following closely.

It probably makes more sense in terms of what is "popular" if most of us get to pick....most of us only get to decide if the car showed up at the showroom we want to buy or not....

I have a CW, I didn't pick it, but I don't mind it. But I'd rather have a RR. Honda decided that most of us should be driving around in CW one....probably wouldn't turn away most except black. Nothing against its look, just having owned black car before I don't want to do it again...
