You hit the nail on the head. If you're pursuing OEM+, yes, Spoon is your best bet. If you're looking to build an all-out time attack machine, you'll probably find that other tuners are better suited. So is spoon the go to for the best OEM+ aftermarket parts for Hondas?
In terms of quality, availability, catalog yes. If I had stupid $$ and wanted to make the ultimate OEM+ JDM FL5 I would Def put spoon as my #1 goto. But their shit is mad $$$$$So is spoon the go to for the best OEM+ aftermarket parts for Hondas?
Spoon typically modifies oem internals to tighter tolerances than stock. A company called Seeker was founded by an ex Spoon employee as kind of Spoon experimental branch. Seeker is really cool jdm company as well. I implore everybody to search best motoring fk8 on youtube. Good battle between J's, Spoon, Seeker Fk8s on the channel. Spoon built their brand on N/A machines so I do feel slightly odd plastering it on a turbo car, but thats just my ocd. Spoon certainly the most respected. So is spoon the go to for the best OEM+ aftermarket parts for Hondas?
It's the general chat thread now LOL.This 'waitlist/deposit/reservation' thread became something else lol
Turbonium, all high on turbonium - although the mirror glass and radiator cap is sweet.I went to Spoons website just to see what all this hype was about.

you clearly haven’t been into this for a while…I’ve been using spoon parts since the mid 90’s. Their parts are quality. You get what you pay forI went to Spoons website just to see what all this hype was about.

Haha was thinking the same. Spoon is pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for tier 1 tuner parts. Very few parts companies have the same fit and finish as spoon. PRL, COBB etc american made stuff don't even come close.you clearly haven’t been into this for a while…I’ve been using spoon parts since the mid 90’s. Their parts are quality. You get what you pay for
