i wouldn't just slap on any kinda wing, the front and rear has to balance out. I'm sure Honda spend countless hours in the windtunnel on the aero it has now.
I'm pretty sure if Spoon/Mugen designed a wing it will be track tested first, and would/should show improvements over stock.

mugen is trash now...it's all looks. spoon actually spends time at the track perfecting every part they put out. not sure the last time i saw any r&d by mugen, they're just a style company now.

Oh, interesting. Haven't followed thr JDM scene in years. Just referring to past knowledge.

More reason to focus on spoon stuff then haha.

probably but you would need their full aero, I'm guessing more than quarter of the price of the car.

fascinating how aero bits work

4K for a spoiler on my daily driver that we are debating is tested and functional on a race track? Funk that.

It might be different for y'all but I'm financing a portion of this. 4k can go to that.

I just have a budget for "fun" which consists mainly of car parts TBH lol. I have a finite amount I am willing to put into the car (if I get it).

The most expensive pieces would be aero/body + suspension + wheels.

The power stuff I probably wouldn't do much (outside of boltons that wont void warranty, in which I can quickly return to stock for any dealer visits), want to be able to keep this thing long-term, so for sure not keen on pushing the limits of the engine and drivetrain (larger turbo, fueling, etc).

The RS wing is on a whole different level vs. the base GT3. The Spoon wing is more akin to the based GT3.

Well no duh. I think they were just showing how cool it was. The whole car has active aerodynamics going on. It's trying to maintain 30/70 split of downforce.

Different approach than Lamborghini had with the Huracan Performante but still awesome. Interested in it's Nring time.

Here is the Lambo..

Sad but true. In the 90s, Mugen built Formula One and Formula Nippon engines in the same factories where they made forged wheels and bespoke suspension components. Now their catalog consists of mirror caps and ugly dress-up kits. Mugen is a shell of its former self, sadly.

Out of interest, is anyone thinking of removing the rear wing and (possibly) adding the regular civic boot spoiler. Thinking it would be a good sleeper

I don’t think that both would look bad at all! My first thought was that I’d like to ad a bit of a duckbill to that hatch when they come available.
