So far it appears the issue only affected the first wave of cars. Got my car in 2nd wave. No seat problems and also not on the recall list. Your car would be 3rd wave and shouldn’t have seat problems. @LouisianaR

It’s easy to find out ! Just call your service department where you got the car from and give them your phone number. They looked it up in less than 30 seconds. Or call any Honda Dealer and give the service department the Vin#. Took less than a minute to find out.

Mine is part of the original batch. I don't hear any squeaking but could you please check to make sure?

So this isn’t an April Fool’s joke, right? I hope everyone with FL5 having this issue is safe.

Vin 00837, and I haven't noticed any squeaking in my seat. I've also done two track days at 1800 miles.

FYI- you can call your local dealer and give them the VIN, they’ll tell you. Or you can wait for notification. Poor dude is inundated with VINs on here now.
If you are part of the list should you call now or just wait for the notification? I'd like to not die in a car crash ?

I mean you can’t really do anything anyways, no parts are available

I would be hitting up the dealership for a free loaner car until they can fix y’all’s seats!

My parts guy just texted me, that my car was affected. Guess I’ll be doing my own frame next week. Hopefully it pays at least 2 hours

Do you guys think it's okay to wait out and go in maybe later this year or next year when it starts to squeak? XD

Don't have a squeak but am assuming with my low VIN I'm affected:

I appreciate you checking, @tuhroo!
