They are out there somewhere but seem to recall 20k cars over 4 years to the US.

If this is a 3 year run it would not be out of the ballpark to estimate 12k to the US.

Thank you. I guess no matter how you slice it, Type R's are rare.

This seems to track. My vin is 3519, R-14560. This means I have a late 2023, and that about 3,600 were sent to the US. With 3,345 of those 3,600 sold, there are a 200-400 units unsold. Most probably sitting in dealer showrooms with stupid ADM attached.

Still, these vehicles seem pretty common now to me because I am actively LOOKING for them, and even looking at sales figures, inventory, etc. However, the reality is that they are pretty stinking rare still.

So about 67 per state (public math)...

I know, I know, if evenly distributed which they're not.

Eyeball is about 15-20 per state per year for most states with Florida and California with the rest of the volume.

I used mountain bike under temperatures that could get you frostbite, or close to it. Some find I was crazy for that.

Just did a nice run at zero with 20 below wind chill the other day. I got some nasty looks from driver bys lol. Some folks just don’t get it.
