Do these light up the rear footwells? Is that the idea?

My one kid is seriously disgruntled by the lack of rear seat lighting, considering the opulence of the front seats where only his older brother can sit. I think doing a rear footwell lighting mod might count as a main birthday present for him haha
I'm with @TW00Si, you may get some light in the back seat area with these kits, but it's going to be very minimal. If anything, you could end up making the front seat area even more exciting to the point that the back seat area seems just that much worse. Gotta love family conflict management.

This is one kit where there are no instructions available, so installation may involve some trial and error. You could use a JDM kit as a starting point (they give you fused harnesses, which are handy for this work) and splice in your own LED's as you see fit. If that's what I was going to do, I'd order the cupholder light kit as the starting point (since there are instructions available). That'll give you one LED under each cupholder, and one in the center console. Once you've disassembled the center console, you could splice in a LED strip, spotlight, bolt... take your pick, really. I suspect you'll blind yourself before you draw a problematic amount of power.

Just my 2 cents!

Where did you order this from and when? Everyone I've contacted has been on backorder forever.

Ok. So it’s softer in comfort. Not a ton but is floats a little more over the rough roads which is great. R is R mode and that’s the buckboard we all know. Only think to make is softer now would be more tire sidewall. I’m good with just the module For the money I can see it would be really good as a daily driver.

Finally got my ITS ADS unit in yesterday and installed it last night. Drove around Atlanta a bit today (our roads are awful) and the difference was immediately noticeable. Way smoother, cushier ride. Ride quality isn't quite luxury, but it is massively better in the ITS Comfort mode.

For reference I'm running 18x9.5 +38 wheels on 265/35 Advan V601s. You may notice some drop in handling sharpness when you're really pushing the car but for spirited daily driving, everything feels just as tight as stock to me. Easily the best upgrade I've made to the car.

Which site did you order it from? And can you give any information on sport and R mode compared to it before?

Today I removed the factory shift knob, and while removing one single item wouldn't normally warrant a post, I believe this does because, if you haven't tried to remove your OEM shift knob already, it's as if it was tightened on by the hand of God.

I believe at @Icehawk suggested it's a to-do to get it off. I assumed it was no big deal. Eat your Wheaties, it wasn't easy.

TIP: It's lefty/loosy (I know, I know, but it never hurts to say), but it wasn't budging until I turned it right/clockwise approximately 1/4" turn after hitting it briefly with a heat gun (I don't know if the heat gun did anything, but it is cold outside--sometimes I just like to celebrate having a heat gun). From there, it screwed right off, no problem at all.

I ordered it from myacuraparts.com back in late November, so it definitely took a minute to get here. I drove in Sport mode for a bit and it felt similar to the standard Type R Comfort mode. I haven't tested R mode (I rarely use it) but my understanding is that the ITS ADS shifts everything softer by a step like this:

ITS Comfort
ITS Sport = Type R Comfort
ITS Sport+ = Type R Sport
Type R +R Mode

This is purely anecdotal from posts I've seen, but it felt pretty true when I tried out Sport mode.

You know there's a 14mm bolt there right?

No, the real tip is pulling down the shift boot and collar and using a wrench to loosen the retaining nut, but glad you got it off either way.

Its that the lock nut is tightened with the power if a 1000 suns.😂

@Ultimateone, @Chilly613, @Jester04 - the last time I removed a shift knob, I was replacing it with a stolen beer tap. It's been a minute. 🤣

Now that I can see that nut, installing the new one should be less of a feat! (Hopefully)
lol Just in case... this is for an FK8, but its pretty much the same thing, but use a trim tool instead so you dont scratch the collar. Good luck!
