Wonder why no extra snorkel.

Balling! Can’t wait to do your tune and actually get some data on the intake.Just pre-ordered mine from Dream.
Because of the space on the FL5 they were able to make the box bigger.Wonder why no extra snorkel.
Seem to be the case! I doubt it makes its way to consumer vehicles (and I can't tell how / if a filter is implemented), but this Acuity intake off one of the track-only FL5s they've worked with goes right into the passenger wheel well:

Potentially, yep. All the intakes that route to wheel wells in some capacity (FK8 Eventuri, FL5 Gruppem, etc.) will. That said, I don't think the risk is overly high, as long as you aren't driving through standing water. Many cold air intakes are worse.Wouldn’t that create potential for hydrolock in wet conditions?
I already talked with Acuity directly and their intake is planned for mass production but it’s a long way off. Possibly 2025Seem to be the case! They also just posted this:I already talked with Acuity directly and their intake is planned for mass production but it’s a long way off. Possibly 2025
When you want to tune for it let me know I got you or when you decide!I'll wait![]()
That's my plan! Will be a bit... in storage till spring, and I might wait a bit, but I'll be calling! When you want to tune for it let me know I got you or when you decide!
Did they happen to give you a timeline on their 11th gen shifter?I already talked with Acuity directly and their intake is planned for mass production but it’s a long way off. Possibly 2025
No, just on the intake and reverse flow hoses. Hoses should be available 2024.Did they happen to give you a timeline on their 11th gen shifter?
And why is that? Based on the commentary from @Two Step Performance it appears the Gruppe M intake better cares for additional air intake.Glad I held up on the Gruppem ..............
