I've never been stopped while driving my CTR in over three years.

That's way different from when I was driving a red Subaru WRX. I got stopped 4 times in the first few months.
Only one stop got me a ticket. But everyone got a ticket that day at 6:30 AM. A pure revenue raiser.

Story of my life living in Plano/DFW Tx! I'm sure driving a FL5 wouldn't make the odds any better.
I started saving Texas tickets and ended up with 22 in 12.5 years.

Happy 4th as well!! Practice that defensive driving today!!

On the lighter side, was there a moment where you thought of jamming on the gas and saying F it? I get that primal urge now and then for a microsecond when I see one lol.

Ive had cops slow down next to me to look at the car or come over once im parked but not been stopped. Been a little lucky too Im sure.

Yeah, there's always a moment when I think only my kids would jam the gas in Grand Theft Auto. I have too much on my mind and too much to jeopardize to run a Grand Prix marathon with the boys in blue. I guess I deserved to get pulled over but thankfully I got off with a warning because I was honestly just heading to work but got carried away with the need for speed.

Plano cops are/were very forgiving much of the time. I once got stopped for speeding down Parker in the morning on the way to work, and stopped again by a different cop in the afternoon on the way home asking if I had an emergency reason to be speeding???? (Kawasaki GPz550). He chewed me out and then let me go. I don't know if this was because I lived in Plano or because I was courteous? All the other cities around Plano were ticket crazy.... handed them out like candy ... never caught a break.

My CTR has been a highway patrol no front plates target in the eight months of ownership. Been driving around with no front plates in my M2 and Tesla model Y for years without ever getting pulled over once.

Uniden R8 radar detector hooked up to the highway radar app with waze running on infotainment.

This setup is the best none radar jammer system to be had. Better than points, higher insurance and attorney fee's.

here in North Carolina, people treat the roads like a race track. you have to be going 25+ over the speed limit before the cops even look in your direction

Plano cops are/were very forgiving much of the time. I think there was a point where I was going between 90 or 100 plus but I slowed it down pretty quick and I was just stomping on the gas beforehand getting on the on-ramp to pass the cars and get moving but then I slowed it down but by that time I guess it was too late when I was around 80 or 90. I'm pretty sure the speed limit is at least 70 or 75 on 190 otherwise known as George Bush going eastbound towards highway 75 (North Texas).

Haha, same for me. I've been rocking no front plate on various cars for maybe 7 years, never been mentioned even when pulled over for speeding.

I had one pull me over for flying past him and a car hovering in the fast lane. He asked me why I floored it past the guy, and I told him the truth that the guy was driving like an asshole he chuckled and said Well slow down and told me nice car and let me go. Best cop I've come across in a long time.

That was in 19 SI I had all supped up. Haven't been pulled over in my fl5 yet.
