I would like to know what is the exact curved pic that you used to undo the harness of the fake sound. Thanks in advance .......... Dos ;-)
Hi Dos.

For the USDM FL5, you don't need a metal hook tool.

To get a full tutorial in a short video, I suggest watching Project BluRay on YouTube.
He shows how to disable the module in his 2022 Civic Si. The process is the same in the FL5 Type R.

The channel is

Project BluRay

and the video is called

How To Disable Active Sound Control (2022 Honda Civic)

Project BluRay shows exactly how to take apart the glove box and get to the sound module to disconnect it. You do not even have to remove the AC panel at all. Just open the side panel and take down the glove box, and you can get in there to disconnect the wire harness. Then you can zip tie or dress the wire as you like.

Cheers.

Ok who has the Spoon N1 exhaust. How do you like it and do you think it is over rated? Spill your guys and let see what you have to say.
Man, looks and sounds good to me, so far. I'd love to hear one in person before I decide to buy one, though.
And I know that maybe some people don't like the rolled tip look.
I think the rolled tips look nice, refined... professional.

"Tomaytow, Tomahtoh", ammiright?

Thanks for another awesome video!

Everything is personal preference and taste and everyone's taste is not always the same. There's an exhaust for everyone. Thanks

I watched that video. His method you have to disassemble the air vents and many people are not comfortable with it. Some have even reported the vent arm fell off while they tried. The hook is just a suggestion.

I’ve got the Spoon N1 on my FL5 and I absolutely love it. Definitely not overrated in my opinion. 🔥

It’s one of the few systems that really captures that raw JDM sound without being obnoxious during daily driving. At idle and cruising, it stays surprisingly tame — no headache, no drone — but the second you open it up, it absolutely rips. The tone is sharp, deep, and clean.

Fitment was perfect right out of the box. Build quality is classic Spoon — lightweight, minimalist, no unnecessary frills, just purpose-built performance. And paired with the right front pipe, it really wakes the car up.

I get a lot of compliments on the tone, especially from people who’ve heard it compared to other popular setups. If you're into that classic JDM-style rasp and rawness without being overly loud, it's hard to beat.
