Introducing the new SBX Signature Black Titanium Stud Kits for the FL5, DE5, and FK8 platforms.

These are made from Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium and finished in our new SBX Satin PVD Black coating for a clean, stealthy look that fits any engine bay.
Each kit features:

Grade 5 Ti-6Al-4V titanium construction
Signature satin PVD black finish
12-point head design
Lightweight, corrosion-resistant construction
Designed for high-heat turbo and downpipe applications
Fitment for Honda Civic Type R FK8/FL5 and Acura Integra Type S DE5
Raw and burnt titanium options will still be available, but black will be the signature SBX finish going forward.

The first batch is limited while we test fitment, finish durability, and customer demand.

Not an option yet. I do not think they will be ready by the time the downpipes are released. Your options are rampage fab studs burnt or raw. If they are ready quicker remind me ill throw them in

How does the coating wear over time? I know it's not powder coating, but I've seen high temp powder coated stuff crack, flake, and chip.

its PVD not powder coat or paint so it shouldnt crack flake or bubble from heat cycles like powder coating can.

over time you might get some light marks where the socket or wrench touches it especially if the tool slips. the threads can also show a little wear during install but underneath is still grade 5 titanium so its not gonna rust

basically it should hold up really good but i dont wanna say its impossible to scratch because any black finish on hardware can get marked when tools are used on it. I mean i installed $120 studs recently and it chipped bad just installing them. I went with PVD as out of all the ways to do it I believe this is the best
