Really sorry to hear about your troubles. I truly hope your situation improves. Thank you for your contributions to the forum, I will be referencing your work with sound deadening at some point.Hi Everyone,
I've had a very tragic event hit my life, and I'm going to sell the car. Gotta sell it in 10 days.
It's painful - I put 200-300 hours into making this car perfect. Looking for a good home. Someone that appreciates it.
Let me know if someone wants it.
It's a day and night different compared to stock. Feels rock solid. Car Max offered me $44k it has 7200 miles.
Meticulously kept in garage.
Car is in pristine condition, zero scratches, zero scuffs, rims perfect, XPEL full frontal + headlights, JDM OEM Red mirrors, New Custom Endurance Endless Brake Pads inbound being made in Japan, New Front Honda OEM Rotors installed, it's on new Paragon R5's all the way around and Cup 2's, new rear rotors OEM in box, Alarm. Oil changed every 1000 miles.
Automative Journalist Zygrene has also have validated the car's significant road noise improvement. Video should be out.
Probably the most sound Type R deadened and dampened in the world.
Thanks everyone,Sorry to hear that. I really enjoyed following this thread. Helped me a great deal doing my own very minor version of this. Hope whatever is prompting this sale works out for your good in end.
I’m really sorry to hear about your loss, my condolences. Hopefully keeping the car will give you something fun to take reprieves Thanks for making this thread, it’s been really helpful and given me ideas while I work on mine! Thanks everyone,
It's been a very tough moment of my life, when you loose someone tragically - unexpectedly.
Thanks to many people in the community -- In hours I had many offers to buy the car.
The good news is, as I was packing my house, my mother convinced me to keep the car - she said you've already lost a lot - no reason to loose more - and after she rode in it -- she said this is very quiet and smooth -- I love the seats -- She said, don't sell this keep it - you put too much effort into this.
I decided to keep the car -- ship it to Dallas and garage it there.
I may decide to try the Continental Dws06's tires, which is supposedly good for another 6-10db they say. Or maybe sell it in the future - let's see where life takes me.
Life is short, enjoy every moment.
