Eh, not much of one. It lets dust get in there but I don't think that has ever proven to be an issue. Many owners do enjoy showing off their aftermarket shifter!
Yes, they are intended to perform the same. I don't have any data such as side by side testing but all of our testing has been positive. Products like this may not make an earth shattering difference but they offer a noticeable improvement to those paying close attention - similar to Rigid Collars.
Here's a more cost efficient option that we are using for stabilizer dampers -

Thanks for your order. You have met our same day shipping cutoff so you are good to go there. You can look forward to arrival no later than Wednesday. We appreciate your business!
Oh sorry if that is what you were asking last time I apologize for missing that.
I do not have an Infinity Designs inlet here to compare side by side but by looking at photos it does seem the weave size and direction is the same.
Matte carbon confirmed compatible:

And our coupler for the inlet pipe upgrade...
Sorry to hear you ran into that roadblock! I know that customers using our coupler upgrade kit are able to use a PRL HVI with the Infinity Designs inlet pipe so you can count on that one being compatible with the inlet.
As far as the PRL HVI interfering with the WOT / PWR Triple Pass I can...
A few thoughts on spacers for this platform:
Slip on spacer of 5mm or less - should be fine
Bolt on spacer of 20mm or more - should be fine
Bolt of spacer of 15mm or less - may require trimming the factory wheel studs
Slip on spacer of more than 5mm - I'd recommend replacing the wheel studs...
I don't have a part number I can share but I can tell you it is not a standard o-ring. Someone like McMaster very well could have something (fingers crossed!) but be sure you are getting enough thickness to fill both the width and the depth of the groove.
Well stated. We have sold thousands of PRL intakes with Green Filter oiled filters (as well as using them on all of our shop cars over the years - 7 Civics and 2 Accords) and have never had any issues ourselves or complaints reported. :hmm:
Note that this is not an updated intercooler, it's a separate SKU and does not replace the bar and plate unit. Both will continue to be available.
This chart shows where the bar and plate is better vs when the tube and fin is better:
- Bar and plate wins in a situation with 4 or less long...
You have likely already seen it, but here is the data PRL released:

Like most manufacturers, they compare to OEM. In this case they also had the opportunity to also show where their bar and...
Catch me up here, are these rankings based on assumed airflow through the cores? Do we have any data regarding measured airflow (front to back) or any data on engine coolant temps comparing multiple options in a relatively controlled testing environment?
If you were to compare the J's Racing...
The closest comparison I can give you is that we had Swift lowering springs on our FK8 and I have the RS-R setup on my FL5. I have found RS-R to be more comfortable on the street and it of course has a lot of adjustability in terms of heigh, the dials on the shocks, as well as the electronic...
I heard a rumor that Spoon had tube and fine cores commissioned but never had the core manufacturer ship them to them to be used, and the PRL instead bought those cores and then the PRL tube and fin intercooler was born. I asked PRL and they would not confirm but also did not deny - so who knows.
