PRL's latest blog does a great job showing where bar and plate wins and where a tube style FMIC makes more sense:

I can't speak regarding the HKS unit, I've never really seen any side by...
Yes, the XDI pump will swap in and give you a bump in capacity. The Full Race pump would open the floodgates, but it depends on how much more you need as to whether the XDI would be enough or not.
Thanks for checking in! Not too much to report but we may be experimenting with some braking system changes in the near future.
2nd gear WOT is great thanks to careful tuning. Boost by gear paired with advanced traction control functionality helps keep everything move forward rather than...
Agreed, this is not really a great option in 2025. Advances in the Honda 2.0T GDI fuel systems have made upgrading the direct injection system (instead of adding port injection) a no brainer.
Lots of talk / confusion regarding PRL inlets for the FL5 and the stock airbox. In short, there are two different kits: one for the stock intake and one for their high volume intake.
SKU PRL-FL5-INT-TIP-STK is what you need. PRL discontinued it. We still have 15 in stock...
Sadly Hondata never authorizes sale pricing, not to mention all injectors being out of stock. I do however have a good lead on the Full Race fuel pump!

All fuel components are fully ethanol safe from the factory. This is the key difference between any car produced in recent years when compared to a 25 year old vehicle when it comes to safe ethanol usage.
We tried to consult with Radium on this after seeing it multiple times and they would not entertain the possibility of a product issue of any kind so for now we recommend staying away from them. :(
I installed a kit similar to the VHLS kit on a 10th gen Civic and had significant issues with noise. That "cost saving shortcut" ended up wasting quite a bit of time and money and I vowed to never go down that road again.
RS-R Best Active is top tier.
If they are including an alignment $300 is not bad at all. When you add a center line on your steering wheel you are more likely to notice it being *slightly* off then you would have otherwise. A small tweak may be required for perfection.
Installation is maybe a 1 hour job. I put mine on and it was not quite straight so I pulled it off, moved it over one tooth, and it was good to go. Did not modify the alignment.
The RV6 downpipe is newer to market and uses a mostly similar GESI converter. Our GESI converter is custom built for Honda turbo applications while theirs is an off the shelf variant. However, there have not been any issues with what they are using, it is solid all around and I have nothing bad...
A catted DP upgrade paired with the factory "catback" would yield a modest increase in sound, no annoying tones such a rasp, drone, etc. It's a great option for someone that wants to avoid any significant loudness.
What would really be interesting is if they were to make this the factory fill for the Type R and require dealers to use it in the service department. 🤔
Some would tell you that the stiffest setting is borderline unsafe on the street so you may not want to do that. I'd recommend starting with the middle setting and seeing what you think before pressing further.
