I live in the San Fernando valley and I talked to a dealer and they weren’t taking any because they do not have the VIN yet but I will be going in person to talk ab any updates and I’ll let you guys know.
Only reason Honda might hold back on production is because people have gave negative comments about how the new CTR looks and they don’t wanna make a lot if their audience is saying they’re ugly.
im sure if they see a good amount of people purchasing they’ll make more
Exactly, the more people panic saying they might not get one the more they’ll be tempted to just go for mark up deals, I mean hey if people get discouraged and go for another car, I don’t mind it, the shorter my wait time will be
Will for sure see crazy markups and l dont doubt the limited production but I’m pretty sure not everyone around us is gonna Go for it, there are a bunch of cars coming out in 2023, if youre planning to get one, you have a high chance if you wait. I feel like everyone is overreacting about not...
Just got off the phone from a dealer near SFV, they had a meeting and they're expecting to get their first shipments of the 2023 type r by October/November. Unfortunately, no deposits or reservations are available. :(
what do you mean people will get super worked up, im giving facts and opinion about dealers in my location. If people get worked up they can keep crying about it lol I don't know what I said wrong.
I feel like this whole markup thing for EVERY dealer is over exaggerated, it'll take a while to
agreed, this whole markup thing is exaggerated, im sure they exist but not as often as people portray
I really isn't that far off, and in reality, the demand for the 11th gen isn't going to be as high than 10th gen. Which is why these numbers make sense.
All I know is that if I end up selling my car and cannot find an 11th gen CTR and I get impatient, Ill start looking into a clean championship white 10th gen CTR, but in the end Im getting a CTR.
This sucks, I’m planning to sell my car to put it words there purchase of the CTR, if they’re limiting production then mannn, I’m risking selling my car and not getting it back
I'm for sure getting it, I'm planning to sell my 2012 sti for 25k, use 20k as a downpayment, and the rest for taxes and registration etc. Willing to wait but hopefully I can find a deal close to msrp.
