I definitely like it... certainly better than the sedan. And I can appreciate the style being cleaned up compared to the 10th gen hatch. Still think it needs spoilers... I'm sure the black lip will be on offer, but I think a black roof spoiler would really finish the back end off nicely. I'm sure there will be aftermarket for these types of things if honda doesn't create an accessory themselves.
I agree that something like a roof spoiler would add a nice styling element.

Yeah, but can you unsee his twin?

Enough to see how the rear end looks. Much cleaner than the last gen. Me likey, as in the silent majority :). It's like the iPhone, don't upgrade every year. Upgrade every other generation for your wallet's sake. However, the Type R will be a stunner in this cleaner look. So wait for that instead.

👍👍

I sincerely appreciate your efforts here, even despite the fact that I will never, ever sleep again.

I know this is probably just some weirdness in the photo, but something sure looks odd going on with the roof....

Well, this pretty much confirmed I'm staying 10th gen regardless if there's an Si hatch or not. 🤢🤮

That's normal for a hatchback to have a crack across the entire top of the car. It's just a weird angle of the shot.

Fun fact on why Honda widened the Hatchback to be in the C Pillar area is because this gives the Type R the ability to use wider fenders in the 11th Gen model instead of how they tacked on the smaller fender in the 10th Gen.

Whatever this rear end is has me getting curious about a Veloster N as an an alternative and there's none for sale within 1000 miles of me, me new or used

I've mentioned this a few times after looking at the various spy shots... the tail light isn't full width, but it is... when stopped. The center portion of the light setup operates as the 3rd brake light, rather than having it mounted in the rear window (or on the spoiler like the 10th gen). When you look at the spy shots of the test cars, they have a small portion of the covering cut out in the center to let the light come through... so at night, when the tail lights are on, and you stop... it'll be full width... I'm disappointed they didn't make it true full width like the coupe too.
I saw the vehicle it most resembles on my way to work today. The Eclipse Cross.

These renderings look better, imho. I still think it needs a rear roof spoiler (not the fast and furious one) and probably the rear lip spoiler. Now if we can address the tepid performance numbers...
