27WON Cold Air Intake Now Available

How loud would you say the intake is? I'm doing this purely for my enjoyment. Compared to PRL and INJEN of course.

just installed it last night.
car is definitely louder, but not by a whole lot.
the sound itself is so much better though. everything about the engine sounds deeper and more refined.
the thing got loudest by far is the turbo suction.
my gf's lancer gts is still way louder than my car with her k&n CAI, but that's a 2.5L compared to our 1.5L. Pure displacement alone really limits how loud our engine is going to get, IMO.

I would say compared to PRL and Injen it is the quietest of the group because of the enclosed filter design, but you can still hear it.

Haven't had a chance to have someone record from outside, but if it's loud inside, I'm sure it's even louder outside

Mind posting a sound clip of it revving and what not? Is this the only mod in the car right now?

This was a really unique project for us as we took a whole new approach to what a performance intake looks and feels like. We wanted to make a system that would not only help to make power but improve overall reliability and health of the engine. As well we wanted to make it look good so it would be nice to look at and something you would be proud to show-off to your friends and at meets and such.
That plus tons of people had concerns of wet weather so we wanted to make sure we can deliver a solution on that as well.

Not in the near future but it's certainly a possibility.

Sweet, I eventually plan to get one and have been looking at this one and the Mishimoto short ram. How do you service the filter?

Very easy actually. You just remove it and rinse it. Cleans just like an AEM dry flow. Shoot us an email and I can get you a video link.
