Not sure how this is constructed but can you just flip the last set of hangers to tuck it in a bit?

This video shows off the exhaust pretty well (skip to 1:30, & you need to be a member of the FL5 group to view) , especially the sound from inside the cabin. The tips are definitely not tucked in enough for me, but it does sound good. Grabbed a screenshot too:

People need to chill complaining about how much it sticks out. I don’t want them to scrap and restart production to address it and then wait another 6 months for the catback. It’s fine.

Is this car tuned? I even heard some pops and bangs?

If you like it great! I think a lot of us wanted something that looked stock but sounded better. For me I wouldn't consider this exhaust unless they reworked it to get it tucked further back.

It doesn't look good. There's no crime in calling that out. Not sure why 27WON thought the design aesthetic of the tips sticking out well beyond the rear diffuser and bumper would be a good look.

The don’t stick out as far as everyone talks about. The way ppl have talked I literally thought they stuck out so far as you’d trip on them, like u might with a tow hitch

I'll throw in my (worthless) 2 cents on why I'm indifferent on the exhaust tips:
  • My grading rubric for an exhaust is heavily weighted towards sound
  • They won't be visible while inside the car
  • The angles where the tips look the longest are limited
    • They went practically unnoticed in the teaser
  • I'm not much of a cosmetic/aesthetics-focused person when it comes to cars

It greatly depends on the angle you're looking at, yes. Some angles make it stand out, others make it look more flush. The center tip is also large so you need clearance around the tip to clear the diffuser. Maybe tucking it in 1/2 inch is doable. Looking straight down, it's pretty flush with the top edge of the bumper...

🤣🤣🤣...right!? We enjoy the feedback. Good, bad, or indifferent.

How about I get first place in line for not complaining when catback version is released this summer? Maybe even a discount?

On a serious note, this is of course all purely subjective, but I do think it looks totally fine as is.

I added a photo of my stock exhaust from roughly the same angle to highlight the difference. It’s pretty extreme to my eyes. Any idea if the design might be updated in the future @Vlad@27WON?
