I just installed my 27won FMIC and I noticed after that my IAT1 readings have been significantly higher. I don’t have a boost leak, but I did take off this part of the intake shroud and I don’t know if that’s the problem or not. (Images will show what im talking about)

Please post iat1 and iat2 numbers. Did you upgrade your charge pipes?

It's normal for iat1 to be 10 degrees warmer than ambient and iat2 to be 10-20 degrees warmer than iat1 if the car is moving. If the car is not moving it can get as hot as the engine bay. It is summer so higher temps are expected. You also are using a short ram intake, it's sucking in hot engine bay air. If you're concerned with iat, get a cold air intake style intake.

My iat2 is cooler than my iat1. While driving (in the rain) my iat 1 (pre-intercooler temps) was at 132 while driving and 150 while Idle and my iat 2 (post intercooler) was around 105 while driving and 112 at idle. Out of the rain I saw my iat2 go as high as 120 while driving. I upgraded the charge pipes with the intercooler. My confusion is that it’s higher than it was before changing the intercooler and charge pipes

Looks like the intercooler is doing a good job. Your IAT1 are high, most likely because it's not getting fed any cool air. Without the shroud it's possible the incoming air is mixing with heat coming off the radiator and downpipe/turbo. Put the shroud back on or get a cai.

This is confusing, but IAT 2 is the reading at the MAF (pre intercooler), and IAT 1 is the reading around the throttle body (post intercooler). So if following the path of incoming air, 2 comes before 1. I believe it was the other way around on the FK8. In the summer heat, I usually see a 25-30 degree delta between the 2 while cruising when the throttle is barely open, as not much intake air is flowing through the system. During WOT, both IAT 1 and 2 drop significantly and this is when it matters.
