@Myx here is our most recent customer to get a W1 on his CVT car. Tuned out of Texas. Shipping another one today for a customer in MO. Have about a dozen or so CVT W1 equipped cars.

Any idea what kind of set up this customer has?

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this in a few weeks. Just need to save up some more money.

Dang....and still no 1/4 mile numbers from the W1 Turbo owners. Trying to see what the lowend torque loss looks like in numbers. Topend too for that matter.

Give me 1.5 months. W1 should be shipping today and I'm gonna order flex fuel kit soon then get it tuned.

Hey Barett@27WON

Questions regarding in my position about upgrading to a 27won Turbo.

I own a 17 sport hatch with FBO, flex, STOCK CLUTCH with custom vitviper tuned.

Will be engine be safe if I were to just upgrade my turbo while keeping the custom tune for awhile?

How likely am I to burn my stock clutch?
My daily driving style are mostly highways.
I dont do hard pulls from a dig.[/QUOTE]

Your Vitviper custom tune would do no good for an upgraded turbo like the 27won. you are better off going back to a base ktuner/hondata map until you can get your custom tune.

Given you are FBO, I would look into a clutch very soon, a custom tune, as well as the turbo upgrade, is a big air flow mod.

How about CVT cooler, will that work to increase CVT life and reliability ?

Yes it would, keeping heat in check always helps.
