30 MPG

Being that I’m still breaking the car in, I wanted to see how much I could stretch a gallon. Drove from Flushing Ny to New Haven CT (about 60 miles) and averaged 55-65 mph depending on traffic and hills. I will never drive this way after break-in but thought it was interesting.

Mix of local and highway, 24.5 mpg. In line with my previous daily but more fun and a manual. What a great car the FL5 is.

I still can’t believe my Earth Dreams 1.5T has a lifetime MPG over 40 so far. They build some nice engines over there!

The first time I took an FK8 for a spin... I returned to the dealership and told a friend... "I got 3x mpg!"

He looked up from his lap top and and said... "Then you are drove it wrong"

I'll never forget it. Well other than the exact fuel eco.

Exactly dude. I didn’t buy this car for mpgs. I’m averaging low 20s but I’m hauling ass and having fun.
