Hey everyone.
I’m trying to get some information from people who have experience with using the ACT flywheel and clutch vs the type R retrofit.
I’m trying to setup my car to be more for track driving and autocross and I know I need a stronger clutch. I’m making about 240whp/ TQ and I don’t plan to push the car any more. The RV6 retrofit holds way more power than I need and has a heavier flywheel. I’m leaning more towards the ACT flywheel and organic clutch because it is 2 pounds lighter than stock. Is there a big difference in rpm drop and shift speed with a lighter flywheel?
