Iā€™m really hoping the type S version comes quickly after the initial release. Not trying to extend my lease more than 6 months..

GLWT. I wonder if itā€™ll be a real base car like the old Integra (cloth seats etc), or the cheapest one will be fairly loaded and $29k?

Iā€™m guessing the latter.

Iā€™m hoping Si 1.5t with hybrid rear engines for combined 250hp and a manual. One can dream.

Yeah, I could see that being reasonable to assume. ĀÆ\_(惄)_/ĀÆ

1.5T for the Si & Teg
2.0T for the CTR & ITR or S (w/e) lol
I can see a Type S with the 2.0T Accord engine (252 hp) and priced slightly lower than the 2023 CTR. Not hopeful for an ITR, TBH.

A 300 hp AWD DCT Integra wouldnā€™t hurt Tyoe R sales, I could see that. I donā€™t know that a 250 hp FWD $35k Integra will be a huge hit.

I kinda feel like it would sell regardless simply because of the name.
Lotsa people hated the new Supra.
Same with the new WRX.
Same with CTR, still fetching over sticker too.
I feel the name ā€œIntegraā€ alone will make some really consider it, at the very least.

ooohhhh ?? imagine Mazda goes and actually brings back the 7 ?

Thatā€™s the concept but itā€™ll look almost identical. The TLX lost something from concept to production but not much. IMO it looks better than the TLX... but Iā€™m probably just saying that because I was hoping for a hatch.

A manual makes some sense in the Type S but arguable the DCT makes more since the CTR already ticks that box and none of the other three Type S models have a manual. Iā€™d be shocked if there are no manual Integras at all but only pleasantly surprised if the Type S gets one.
