Hey all! I'll keep this short. I want to start working on my own car (fl5). I want to be able to do my own oil changes, change out my 2 wheel sets without taking it to a tire/wheel shop, do some modding DIY, prep for track day (Got 2 under my belt now!), etc.

Here's the list of things that I have written down as things I'll need:
-Torque Wrench (for making sure lug nuts are to spec - does this need to be 1/2 inch? what about mm?)
-Impact Wrench (to remove lug nuts)
-low profile Jack + jack stands
-some sort of ramps because the front jacking point seems hard to access without it
-mechanics toolbox (something like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QLNVJJ...KCMXAR7Y&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it)

Am I missing anything? I would also appreciate any recommendations / links for any of these. Thanks in advance, looking forward to finally getting to start working on my own car.

I know some people will bash them but harbor freight has lifetime warranty. The floor jacks from there are good value for money sometimes the aluminum ones go 40% off. I happen to work just fine with their sockets and wrenches also. Pickup a few different lengths of 3/8. Also a set of open ended wrenches and maybe ratcheting wrenches but those would be lower priority I would think.

Check out the Milwaukee 12v stubby impact. It's 3/8 so it can fit more places but I have switched to using it for tire changes it's just easier to handle. My 1/2 impact gets used less and less.

I got this set of impact sockets which have basically replaced my non impact sockets
Sunex 80-Piece 3/8" Drive Master Impact Socket Set - SAE/Metric, 5/16"-3/4", 8mm-19mm, Cr-Mo, Radius Corner, Heavy Duty Case https://a.co/d/cR0ZrKK

3 Ton Performance Jack Stands, Pair https://a.co/d/eptzJ4X

Just my 2 cents I'm sure others will choke on too

A long reach low profile floor jack costs more, but will make life much easier doing diy work on your car.
