Interesting. This is essentially an earth grounding kit. I thought these things died in the 2000s.Discovered another good mod that don’t cost an arm and a leg FL5 Best Hidden Mod
I had a HKS grounding kit on my DC5 and it did help. Thought I would try the same on the FL5 and to my surprise the car’s transmission is a bit lighter and more buttery and the throttle response is quicker.Interesting. This is essentially an earth grounding kit. I thought these things died in the 2000s.
nice! how was the install process and how does the car feel just puttering around town?PRL REM = way less wheel hop
Super easy, I did it at the same time while installing an AWE exhaust, front pipe had to came out giving you a lot more access.nice! how was the install process and how does the car feel just puttering around town?
Are there any downsides to the flap always being open?Remove the exhaust flap fuse so that it's stuck open. Best first free mod.
Not in my experience, no. Some have stated that they feel a little more roughness at initial takeoff, but there's no concrete evidence to support it.Are there any downsides to the flap always being open?
I'm confused as to why a stiffer RMM would result in less rattles. I would've thought it'd be the other way around? The best first mod is the Hondata base Octane 93 tune, but the best “bang for your buck mod” is the PRL rear motor mount. Why?.. because it has improved the driving experience overall.
- the car feels more stiff
- significantly less jerk while shifting gears
- significantly less wheel hop
- no more rattles from the infotainment system
- significantly less rattles from seatbelt retainers
