Your best bet is to seek out options that have a secondary inlet. The PRL HVI is my top choice, which is available in both plastic or carbon fiber if you are up for paying more for something that looks nicer under the hood.

As much as I would like to mod my R to make it more 'me' I agree that stock or tuned power is enough for the street. There are not a lot of opportunities for me to go full throttle and explore the limits without incurring the wrath of the authorities. I wouldn't mind doing the exhaust and intake for sound, and adding flex fuel for the cooling benefits of E85. Tracking my R is not an option quite yet, possibly next year.

This is correct and I say that as a guy with a turbo to install.

Beyond PRL Carbon Fiber the only more premium option I may could recommend for someone that is performance minded is Gruppe M / Blitz. However please note it will require custom tuning.
