Can someone confirm cars have actually landed in BC port? I still don't think any CTRs have arrived in Canada for delivery to dealerships. Probably just media/demo cars only.

Dang at least someone has reached out…. I am getting ghosted.. I got no reply or calls at all.
Anyone interested in setting up an excel or list of who is at what dealer and what color?
yeah good idea, never started a post on here but i am down if someone can, I think it will be handy I can see people getting SGP and wanting CW and vice versa ... then we don't even need to swap cars, we just have to swap dealerships, that's at least for those that are #1 and are being called to come down and sign paper work ... which realistically for msot of us in Canada is not happening before Q1 2023

That is a good question. As in thir press release the said the following… “begins arriving at Honda dealers nationwide tomorrow”

At least not long to wait, we'll see if dealers start talking tomorrow. I wrote mine today for an update.

Small update from me. Spoke to GM, I am apparently as far down the list as #4 now due to a very incompetent salesman. GM was a standup guy but I am gutted. Probably wont see this car until 2024 at best, probably lose interest by then. Was fun while it lasted, look forward to seeing some deliveries on here soon.

i feel you, that's exactly what happened to me, that's why i think they low key kept #1 spot to employees, imagine as an employee you get 1st dips on it, get to toy with it for a a year or so then turn around and sell it at profit.....out of curiosity how many folks doubled down on deposits, it dawned on me what if some of the people are #1 at one dealership and 2 or 3 at another...ideally if they secure one car they are gonna drop out of the race and bump up the ones below them at said dealership...i still have a feeling

Great point man. Just real gutted, learned a valuable lesson today don't trust salesmen they are basically useless. Never would imagine it would be so hard to spend 60k before on a car of all things

Not gonna lie, the deposit lists never really meant anything TBH. They can skirt it if they really want to. Im pretty low @ one dealer in the GTA, but I pretty much said, listen Ill add $7.5K in options+ trade in a car to secure an allocation.

They are only getting 2 in 2023, that list went out the window as soon as they heard 2 units. its a free for all for-profit dealership. I'm not even sure where my +7.5K stands, but it sure beats a #1 spot with no addons that's for sure.

Also, in most dealerships employees arent allowed to buy first allocations, its always to customers to maximize profits. Dealer will give 2 fucks about employees, $$ talks.

i was thinking more along the lines of a mutual arrangement that they end up trading it in and then the dealership sells it as slightly used 6 months 10k over msrp.... but learned so much now now to bad all my eggs in one dealership and to give them a reason to sell me with add ons .. but i always thought dealerships made their money off the financing, getting a commission of all these loans they push through to Honda finance

Do sneakers count if I put wheels on them?

Mind sharing which dealer? This past year has gotten me more and more paranoid.

I reached out to a dealer near me in Durham region, and the salesman wasn't aware of the Type R was going on sale tomorrow... he did say that his GSM is expecting 8 over the next 3 years and will get back to me with more information tomorrow.

Definitely. The dealership doesn't have a reservation list (I've been talking to the sales guy since August) so if there's new I'll report back.

Nothing interesting right now
My dealer just told me I'm not #1 after all. Not very happy about this. Apparently there was a previous deposit from the last gen that is getting carried over. These dealers man ugh. Longer wait than anticipated but heres hoping for spring.
Exact same thing happened to me too

Just a thought... If some dealerships were talking about ordering the car online, I assume that means we should be hammering their car builder site tomorrow.... like 12 am haha
