They probably just copied the US press release without proof reading it lolI keep refreshing the canadian site ... meh, i hope Honda didnt make mistake on their press release and we actually do get the builder today.. unlike GRC, which still isnt available
I mean no point arguing I guess. You're one of those people, if you had a dealership you'd sell over MSRP, and I'd sell at MSRP. It's just who we are.Unfortunately, that's not how actual life works in reality lol.
If you want the discuss honor, or ethics, the dealerships control who gets what and when. The power was never in the buyers hand. Any grievances you have is with them, not the individuals who are trying to maximize their chances of obtaining what they want.
If I can control the outcome of a specific situation, why wouldn't I try lol. Instead of being a passenger and hoping things work out.
That's incorrect, I would sell to whoever I felt should get the vehicle based on merit and use case. I would look to sell at Msrp to local, enthusiast and dealership loyalty and MAYBE I'll factor place in line as the tie breaker.I mean no point arguing I guess. By enticing the dealer to skip over someone else who is ahead of you with more money and then lay the blame on the dealer if they choose to be honourable or shady is a weak argument. That's incorrect, I would sell to whoever I felt should get the vehicle based on merit and use case. Just because I am willing to pay more to control my options, doesn't mean if I was in a position of power I would take advantage of the situation.
I'm not sure why you are mad at me for offering additional funds to get what I want lol. You can do the same, the DEALER decides not u, me or the flying head in the sky.
I never said what I am doing is "honorable" did I, if I did I have mispoken, if you assumed I did you misunderstood.By enticing the dealer to skip over someone else who is ahead of you with more money and then lay the blame on the dealer if they choose to be honourable or shady is a weak argument.
Whether or not they choose to be greedy you can’t play innocent in this you willingly enticed them to make a choice and take action.
It’s like saying “I offered him $5000 to jump out that 10 storey window, not my fault he chose to be dumb and greedy” yes that is an extreme example but the fact remains the instigator is part of the equation.
Just to be clear I am not faulting you for doing this with the dealer, but pretending like you are on the high road and the dealer is all to blame is bs dude.
You did it you didn’t whatever, maybe don’t post your plans on line lol.
I'm not sure you understand, I don't care if anyone sides with me or not lol. I'm just here to detail what I am doing to get the car lol.I dont think many are going to side with you. Everyone should be given the fair chance to buy at MSRP end of story or it becomes a circus like the US which is terrible. Its going to be a waiting game for many, if you cant wait find something else or buy used.
Back on topic, I did hear back from 1 of 3 dealers. Based on the units they have been told they are receiving vs. what they thought they would get (2 annually vs. 7 annually) they have decided to review each allocation on a case by case scenario, they are scraping their line up process.Let's just change topic again ;p on my end no news, lets hope we find out more next week. Maybe dealerships still waiting for the Canada price to be confirmed, who knows
Seems like noone else heard much either.
what does that mean? they look at you and if they deem you enthusiast enough you'll get it?Back on topic, I did hear back from 1 of 3 dealers.
