Hi all,

anyone can recommend a dealer around Vancouver to perform the service steering recall? I am also a bit hesitant because of the joy ride incident from a couple post above thanks

Have you experienced it yourself? I didn't think there were many FL5 owners with the issue. There's apparently two ways to do the fix. The US dealerships have access to tool to do the install, whereas here in Canada, they have to drop the subframe. If you can wait for our dealerships to get the tool, I would wait.

Haven’t really experienced the problem but prefer to get it fixed. The car is in storage now so there is no rush. I didn’t know the dealerships in Canada weren’t able to fix the issue without dropping the subframe yet. Thanks for the info

Mine is in storage as well, I'm hoping that they'll have the other fix readily available spring/summer next year.

Is putting Castrol oil in the car worth listing? Just thinking out loud...

I noticed the engine ran a little smoother with it but that could just be it breaking in fully. Doesn't really matter I know, but it just came to mind lol

Hey guys, thought I'd share my parts 1 year in:
PRL HVI
27W RMM and Front Strut Bar with Master Cylinder Brace
Enkei TSV 18x10.5 et40 with 265 35 Michelin Pilot Alpine PA4s
Castrol EDGE 0W20
Headlight drl smoke tint

Do you get a lot of "boostie" noises coming from the HVI whether windows are opened or closed?

Haha first time I ran it, you could still hear wooshing and "psssshhh" noises coming from it even with the windows up at 110km/h in 4th. Makes revving it out feel much more enjoyable!

Finally made the jump over from the color thread to the build thread! Also went through all the posts here to see what's a good mod to start with. Keeping it in storage for now though to save up for mods (and winter) lol.

December here in Toronto has been mostly mild, though we had a few snowy days. Made me want to pull the car out, but I don't have the right tires for the winter months anyway.
