I saw where someone had made an OEM+ lighted door sill protector, but that was over a year ago. I had the illuminated ones on my FK8, but the new ones look pretty cheesy in all the videos. Any chance someone has these: Etsy FL5 Door sill protector ?

There are some real garish light up ones on there that use a magnet , but that just seems way too cheesy. Anyway…looking for pictures if someone has something they like. I would like illuminated, but I’m about decide it’s not worth the cost unless they really pop.

yeah, yeah. I know. I need to change my avatar picture, but I’m not home, so I can’t get a new picture.

Instead of a treadplate/door sill plate, illuminated or not, how about trimming PPF to roughly the same length as an average door sill?

I'll be installing Chasing Js sills once the weather isn't insanely cold.

I’d have to see the gradient installed. I wish they had pictures of the one they’re sold out of. Thanks for the info, they do look pretty sweet.

I like the look of a sill plate. I thought about doing some kind of PPF, but I think I want something there. PPF would serve the same purpose, but somehow my brain wouldn’t see it that way. ;-)

I have the OEM ones still in a box from when I purchased the car, they look cheap and are a bit of a pain to install.

That’s not bad. I was thinking more though the painted area outside where those are. Where the OEM ones you bought would go. I like that look though
