I had my son text me while I was out with my wife and other son to tell me there was a scratch on the rear passenger door of my FL5 and I was freaking out as we were coming home.
I took a look, fearing the worst, but there was nothing there. It turns out he was seeing the vertical line of the clear protection film that is on the back lower corner of each rear door. WHEW!
My question is whether these are supposed to be there or if they were part of the shipping protection on the car and should have been removed during PDI? They are mostly invisible when the car is clean, but when it gets a little dirty, the dirt can collect on those edges and they stand out a lot more.
I don't have a photo, but I can post one later if it isn't clear what I am talking about!
