Do I need a tune for HKS intercooler and piping

I am looking to get the HKS intercooler and piping. While I will be getting a tune soon am I able to run this intercooler and piping without a tune? Or would I need to get it tuned immediately after? Has anyone ran this with no tune?

Was considering installing it myself then bringing it to the tuner but not sure if it will mess anything up or drive like ass in the process.

A tune is not required for an aftermarket intercooler. The stock ECU is more than capable to adapt to lower IATs.
