Factory Air Dam PPF or is it just shipping material to be removed? Would someone mind looking at your car?

I found a stip of thick plastic film on my air dam. It looked terrible with all sorts of debris behind it / partially peeling etc. I assume this is just a shipping material that wasn't removed during PDI. However it was really thick, so I am not sure. I just want to make sure that is the case, and not that some factory PPF has failed. The car is brand new (200 miles), and hasn't been bottomed out or anything, so the film wasn't damaged. Just poorly installed. Do your cars have a strip along the air dam on the front, dead middle. Thanks in advance.
Nope, my car doesn't have any weird plastic strips on the front! It sounds like that was just some leftover junk from when they shipped your car. You're probably good, especially since your car is brand new.

My FL5 has it. It is hanging off a little, I'll leave it, not hurting anything and taking the scrapes for the air dam.

My SI didn't have it.

It’s that OE JDM flare. Should resell it on eBay to the L15 guys hehe
