I know. Here’s 2 just in the title alone. Others (that I don’t remember) mention it while doing their reviews and I don’t understand it.

This is the most backward label I have ever heard -- if anything the FL5 is a toned-down, more mature Integra Type S for adults! lol

Sounds like someone needs to create a correction video. Lol.
I'll take the child sounding ITS please.

I don't get it either. It's the same goddamn car underneath lol. "tHe fL5 iS mOrE RAW, SPECIAL, IS NUMBERED, HERITAGE blah blah blah.."
Lol right, especially since 90% will never see the track to truly utilize the car. I don’t understand why people have to justify their choice of purchase to others , just be happy we even have these options because in a few years we won’t outside of the used market.

Yup. I'm all about the heritage and Type R love. Had an EK9 and FD2 posters on the wall and dreamed of owning one at someone. Grew up on Hondas, hell Dad even worked 35 years for them. Fact of the matter is that BOTH FL5 and DE5 are and will be considered special cars for the simple fact that this is the LAST generation we'll have cars like this. Doesn't have to be a pissing contest, let's just enjoy the fact we even have them. Reminds me of how some people shit on the RSX because it wasn't called "Integra" but that car is considered classic now.

Does it have more of a sedan feel than the type r? I know it’s slightly longer than the FL5 and when I test drove an Integra A-Spec what I didn’t like about it was how sedan like it was. I’m yet to get behind the wheel of a type r but hoping it has more of a true hatchback feel to it than what I experienced with the Integra.

What do you mean by hatchback feel? As in small and compact? The CTR is also massive by hatchback of yesteryear standards.

Fair enough, I haven't heard it in person yet. Hope I can find one to test drive soon!
I actually agree with geese. My biggest fear before test driving was that they overdid the exhaust with pops. I hate the sound of almost all 4 cylinders(driving an NA LS3 atm) but I will say they nailed the sweet spot. It sounds about as good as a 4 cylinder can in my opinion with just a sprinkle of crack

I sat in a Type S last night and if you are a fan of CTR seats then the seats in the ITS will likely be a dealbreaker. For some it might be lower on their priority list, but for me, the CTR seats are one of my favorite things about my car.

Overall, it is a very good-looking car, but IMO Honda/Acura missed by not using the CTR seat covered in a nicer material -- especially at the asking price.
I'm glad they didn't. I rather the R be unique than share even more parts. These differences make it easier to decide between a R or S.

Agreed. However, some cars just feel different ("special") when you drive them. Its the difference between driving something from A to B vs for fun. I'm actually a BMW person, never owned a Honda ever. Drove a 340i msport and M3 recently, didn't like it. It just felt plain.

Local dealership happened to have a FK8, so I decided to test it for kicks, even though for me it had all the wrong options lol - 4 cyl, "wrong" wheel drive, hatchback, cheap infotainment, etc. But that drive, made me sign up on this forum and put three deposits down for the FL5.

I haven't tested the S, but I hope its engaging like the R. If not, then that's the differentiator between and the S and the R.

it will be engaging but wont be as firm as R.

Well I’m currently in a Golf GTI and I love the way the front hood drops off beneath me as I look over the steering wheel. Maybe sounds weird but just that angle and feel of a hatch I like so much better than what I experienced driving the Integra.
