Looking to do some fuel system upgrades. I’m looking to get the Full-Race HPFP. However, I’m trying to decide whether I should go with a 1400 or 2000cc injector from XDI. Im looking for the most power possible and am looking for some advice and recommendations. Feel free to hmu. FYI, here’s a list of what parts I have on now:

Eventuri Intake
RV6 R660 AS Turbo (Inlet Pipe included)
PRL Charge Pipes
PRL Intercooler
Pracworks Carbon Manifold
Dreamautomotive Catless Downpipe
Spoon N1 Muffler Kit (Small Res. Delete)

Hondata 1530cc. Unless you have motec, then you could do the xdi 2000.

Hondata 1530 is more likely a 14xx but still very good. Stock ECU is more than capable of dealing with the 2000´s

There's a whole thread on the Hondata forums where people struggle with the xdi 2000's and getting them to run correctly. I'm sure it's possible, but it's not going to be a simple experience like the 1530 or 1400

The main issue at this point is dealing with a big pressure spike from these massivel fuel pumps when you hit fuel cut specially in high rpm like a rev limiter. This can lock the injectors shut sometimes. There are ways around it and I know Hondata was working on it but I´m not sure how it ended up.

Hondata is not the only way to go so keep that in mind.

BTW, you should look into an LPFP upgrade. Also, "looking for the most possible power" on stock internals is not gonna get you very far. Another thing to consider is what percentage of ethanol you plan on running and how far do you want to go in regards of low pressure side upgrades. These is often overlooked but shouldn´t.

Ask whoever your tuner is. That's your best bet. They see the information on a daily basis.

Thanks for the insight. I plan to make the most power possible with 92oct with 10% Ethonal (pretty much just pump gas atm). I’m considering higher ethanol usage in the future, but atm I’m not for sure. I have looked into LPFP upgrades. However, I’m not aware of anyone or have seen any videos of a LPFP upgrade on a FL5, therefore I somehow assumed FL5s don’t need a LPFP upgrade. Overall I appreciate it. I plan to at least be within 450-500whp, I don’t think I’ll be able to break 500whp with 92oct though, but I’ll try to make the most I can with it in the meantime. With that being said, putting yourself in my shoes, what fuel upgrades would you do? Lmk. Thank you!

500whp on E10 will be a hard task. I'd still upgrade the lpfp though.

the DW300C is the way to go for this setup.

the full race pump might be a little overkill for your setup but it should work

Thanks again. Sounds very reasonable and I will definitely consider it. As for injectors, 1400cc or 1530cc?

500whp to be honest you can probably do on stock injector. But talk to your tuner to see what is his reccomendation. Do you have someone to tune the car for you?

You may not max out the factory fuel system on 92 octane, I'd expect less than 440whp barring a very generous dyno. Any gains you get from upgrading fuel components will be minimal until you commit to using a higher content ethanol blend. That is also the only way you are going to get your money's worth out of this turbocharger. It shines in the 550+whp range and is way overkill for ~450.

Regarding injectors, the Hondata 1530s seem to be the new king. They play very nicely with the Hondata software. Checkout the Full Race high pressure fuel pump if you decide to go down that road.

Go with the Hondata 1530. I had the XDI 1400cc injectors and kept getting a misfire code during startup.

I had this similar issue on my 1400s but @Jester04 fixed that. It's been cold and mornings are down in the teens. She starts up better than stock 😜.
The 1530s are king but at twice the price and only 10% more headroom. I can't justify the price jump yet.
