Has anyone removed the rear panel on the hatch door? I've been scouring the internet but can't find any info on how yo do it

Sure thing. Just be careful especially when reassembling, the clips are easy to break!

Perfect timing. Going to attempt to swap out the wing in a few weeks.

If I remember correctly, you have the Voltex Type 2 ordered (planning to do the same too), please share some detailed photos of it! Wanna see how it looks before pulling the trigger. 🫡

One piece of advice I shared with @TW00Si and I'll share with everyone else removing/reinstalling the wing mount brackets:

There are 3 10mm bolts holding each bracket to the car. When you're working overhead and with the hatch open, you're at a fantastic angle for dropping bolts or a socket into the moulding. They'll end up tucked into some crevice near the top of the glass where you'll never reach them again, but you'll know they're there, because you'll hear them rattling deep inside your soul for the rest of eternity.

You've been warned.

Hope I saw your comment earlier... one bolt just fell inside the hole...

Would using a magnetic socket help?

Put the hatch down and go drive around and find a slope. It will rattle out hopefully. I had to do the same.

Yes thats the method I am trying right now. Driving a "Touring Edition" FL5 around and hopefully the missing bolt will fall out at some point 😂

The car looks fine, but because you know it's rattling around back there, it's practically totaled.

It was fun while it lasted.
