CARB FLASHPRO
We have been working hard testing and developing the CARB tunes for the 2022 Civic Si. The performance gains are huge with a simple upload from our Plug-N-Play FlashPro system. Our Si now has over 1,000 miles and the development was done with California 91 octane.

*EPA/CARB Status California emissions pending. This product will be certified to be used on street vehicles within the USA.

Important Note
This CARB FlashPro allows limited tuning on the preset calibrations. For competition vehicles we recommend the RACE FlashPro which allows full tuning.

Features
  • Programmable ECU interface.
  • Connects via OBDII diagnostic port.
  • USB 2.0 connection. Works with laptop or desktop.
  • 20 hours on board datalogging memory.
  • FlashProManager Windows software.
  • Check and clear diagnostic codes, monitor your engine and much more with your phone and the Hondata app
  • Custom phone and laptop gauges.
  • Dual calibration storage - upload from one of two calibrations stored in the FlashPro.
  • Flat Foot shifting
  • Traction control (Patented)

Anticipated questions. "Why is this less than the preliminary tune?" " What's with the names?"

Clutch slip is related to peak torque, not power. Our calibration has a little more power than the preliminary tune but less torque. Hondata chose to engineer flat drivable torque curves to reduce the possibility of clutch slip. The name CARB 250 relates to torque level of 250 lb-ft. We will come out with a CARB 260 or 270 when a stronger clutch is available.

So are these a +3, +6, or +9 tune? I noticed the 10th gen civic had a +6 and +9 carb tune or something like that.

Assuming the clutch issue is taken care of, what's the power potential on 93 Octane?
With a really high octane fuel 270. With 93 octane 255-260? The torque potential gain is a higher % (guess 270-280). This is a CARB tune. You are running into CAT restriction.

No. Our tuning and labelling has changed. We are tuning and labelling for a specific torque level as it relates to clutch slip and makes it easier to tune for.

Will this tuning and labeling be transferred over to the 10th generation on flashpro software and hondata’s site as well or is the 11th gen civic a special case since it utilizes a different turbo that spools sooner and breathes longer?

:applause: !!!
Thank you for providing the flexibility to use different tunes. It looks like the CARB 240 and CARB 250 tunes keep the longevity of the stock clutch in mind. At some point I see upgrading the stock clutch will be a necessity and consider it a wear item.

Our focus is now on the 11th generation Si. There is a lot to learn and share.

Is the CARB 240/250 available for download from Hondata when you purchase the hardware? Or is it an add-on to purchase regardless of the tuning device?

One is for off road use the other is street legal.
I'm aware of that but was wondering which specific parameters makes one tune CARB legal. I assume anything related to emissions but which specific parameters cannot be modified?

Exactly. So basically rev hang can’t be tuned out since it’s emissions related.
