@Phenom3030 Looks fantastic! The audio knob, it installed good and tight with no issue? When you say its a larger diameter, that doesn't affect the function or fitment? Just the appearance?

Great job touching up the silver ring as well.
Thanks! It installed onto the stem just fine. As far as I can tell function and fitment are unaffected. Here’s a photo of the knob size difference.
11th Gen Honda Civic I did a thing! Installed gloss black knobs (HVAC / climate control) IMG_3825

Hate to bring up an old thread but does anyone in here know if you can replace the knobs themselves? My middle one is cracked :(

looks good, but ... I always find it funny, when a car comes with black mirrors people want them body color, when the rear wing comes black they want it body color, etc

I'm pretty sure some "base" Honda owners are already looking for HVAC control knobs with the silver finish
The US people want clear side marker and my cousins in vietnam with clear side marker wanna buy amber overlay to make it look USDM.

You'll likely need to replace the entire climate assembly. The middle one is fixed and built into that. The left and right one the switch itself can be replaced.

Hold on, you broke the screen in the middle or the rotating ring? Just buy an Accord Climate control set.

I cracked the rotating knob that displays on/off. So I ended up buying HRV climate control unit that had the black knobs cause I wanted to fix the display crack as well instead of buying a new one. I did get it fixed. It was a bit of a tedious way to fix it, even buying a new middle button wouldve been the same just more expensive + black knobs. It was 77 on Ebay so easy fix got it done in like 20-30mins.

Curious
Has anyone tried or thought about just painting them and then a layer or two of a sealant?
I’m sure eventually it would wear but it would probably last a good while

Honestly that's probably the best approach. Some gloss black on those knobs and the volume knob and you'll be golden.
