I’ve been trying to find out if I can go the cheaper route to not have to buy new rims just to increase my side wall preferably I would want 265/40/19x9.5 et60 does anyone know the maximum sidewall clearance you could use without issues? I really want more than 35 side I’ve already ran through so many tires because of potholes I would rather run the 40 and if the 265/40 tire does fit would I need spacers to offset the et60 or would it work fine as is.

I see the thing is I already confirmed that 265/35 fits so I wouldn’t want to loose width and worst case would comprise for the 35 sidewall , are you saying if I drop to 255/40 that would fit better because I’d take the loss on width if I can get the 40 sidewall

I'm all about increasing sidewall height and ride height to protect wheels from road hazards.

Did you end up installing 265/40 R 19 tires on your OEM FL5 wheels?

I'd love to see photos!

Should have bought a SUV
I wanted one, but Honda doesn't make an HR-V Type R.
Still waiting... Honda.
In the mean time I had to get the Civic.
