Hey yall, need help with what intercooler to go with.
I live in Las Vegas, so with summer coming up I’m trying to prepare for the heat. I’m currently deciding between the MDR Industries Billet Intercooler and the PWR Lightweight Bar & Plate Intercooler for my 2025 FL5.
I purchased the car back in October and haven’t tracked it yet, and probably won’t until sometime next year. For now it’s my daily driver. From time to time I’ll do some freeway pulls, red light to red light runs, and weekend canyon driving.
Not sure if it matters, but I currently have an Eventuri inlet and air intake installed, along with an Apexi front pipe.
Since I live in Vegas where temps can get brutal in the summer, I’m mainly looking for something that will help with heat soak and keep IATs more consistent during spirited driving.
For those of you running the MDR or PWR intercooler:
How have your intake air temps been?
Any install issues or fitment problems?
If you had to choose again, would you go with the same one?
Appreciate any feedback!

Based off what you are using the car for the MDR will be perfect for you and doesnt break the bank. If you need one we stock them and have in stock. Any info just reach out
