So I have had my ctr for all of two weeks. Have literally been trying to get rims, suspension, exhaust, intake and downpipe. Nobody seems to have anything in stock.
So I called ohlins and KW direct. Got a bit closer however they didn't sell direct to customers.
Got a list of distributors and after a bunch of calls found s kw v3 bundle with edc cancelation module.

Is it just me or do yall have a hard time getting parts right now?

Some wait times but now I have a huge back log of parts to install.

Have fun getting OEM shit too. I needed a damn CV boot and they've been backordered for 2 years! Same for any suspension parts.

I might just move mine into the living room and use it for a coffee table for a while until parts are available. :(

It just most aftermarket company are small or the distributor doesn’t want in stock due to the cost on their books. It normal due to type r low production number compared to how many units they would move.

Reading this makes me wonder how hard body parts would be to get if the car was in a wreck.
Aren't most of the panels on the Type R specific to the model?

I believe only the front doors and the roof are common to other/lesser Civics

I was told by the service writer I work with at the Acura store near me, that she had a customer waiting almost 2 years for a part so far.
