Just how well do the 255/35R19 tires work with the FL5 with stock rims?

As you can see I posted the thread below, but I've been doing some research and the 255/35R19 tires seem to be a good alternative to the stock as far as all season tires go.
I just drive this thing as a regular car and want no weird issues.
Also, it seems as if the 255/35R19 Continental DWS 06+ is about $100 cheaper per tire, more comfortable, more sidewall, etc than the factory tire size of the same thing.
Anyone here running these tires and sizes on the stock FL5 rims?

I bought 18 inch wheels and 255/35/18 tires to try that setup for winter..I didn't like it at all..255 on 9.5 rims is looking to tear off the outter wheel rim...and the 255 is really stretched on the 9.5 inch rim..As such, I have 4 brand new 255/35/18 tires for sale and 4 new 18/9.5/45 off set wheels for sale..lol

I run a 255/35/19 on a second set of wheels for the winter. It works great in terms of drivability, but you have NO rubber to protect the rim from curbing FYI.

How about 265/35R19's?
Do they rub or anything?

My understanding from several previous posts here is that 265/35R19 fit fine, and even 275/35R19 will not rub with OEM suspension.

I am in SoCal, don't need to worry about snow/ice, but I am considering the Continental DWS 06 Plus in 265/35R19 (or 275/35R19) for better ride (taller sidewalls), slightly better wet stopping/handling, longer mileage warranty, and lower price. I know I'll be giving up on dry handling, but not much, only a few percent in Tire Rack tests.
