Mugen FL5 concept first look

FK8 = Mugen (aggressive)
FL5 = Spoon (subtle)

considering Spoon direction this time as well...
this Mugen kit is, no doubt, bad a$$$ tho

Not feeling it, looks like a regular car that is trying too hard.

Need to see some real data on the wing in terms of down force and the single exhaust relative to performance gains. The wing looks interesting and more finished than the Spoon wing that has some really crappy bolts that appear to protrude and mismatch the finish.

Agreed. Looks like a lazy attempt. Like they had some parts and just slapped it on plus some stickers.

Not necessarily. I think a lot of people will say that because the FK8 looked like it had a body kit straight from factory. The BBS looking rims are nice though. I think they are BBS.

Yes, it’s the body kit. The FL5 has such nice clean lines a body kits sort of wrecks the mood for me.

I saw pics of the new Civic Type-R GT Concept. That looks really cool, but that’s an all out race car.

I didn't like this kit so much and I remember I also didn't like the FK8 mugen kit at first...but it grew on me.

Now, I'm wondering if this mugen kit would looked better on matching paint...say on a black FL5. I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I keep checking kingmotorsports' website and it's still not up for grabs.

Wonder if mugen is updating the kit with everyone complaining about it lol.
