Regarding the darker Sonic Grey on an FL5 vs standard Honda’s, you are noticing the same thing, correct?

Yup I agree, if you really want to blow your mind park a SGP FL5 next to SGP FK8. FK8 spec Sonic Grey is a much nicer color. It’s more dynamic, has better color change characteristics.

Did a few updates to the FL5 this past few days.... Lowered the car on H&R Springs and added some SSR GTX01 19x9.5 38mm offset wheels with 265/30/19 Nitto INVO tires. Car rides so much better than it did with the OEM Suspension..

+R is actually tolerable 95% of the time vice cringing over crappy roads... I feel it didn't loose anything in the handling department what so ever:thumbsup:

If they are the same paint code they are the same colour.

I compared my BB FK8 to a forum member's BB FL5...the FL5 had a slightly different look compared to my FK8. I found that due to the smoother body lines of the FL5 your eye follows the blue more, thus making it look a little different. The owner and I chalked it up to being done in different facilities therefore resulting in a slightly different finish. The quailty of the paint was definitely better on the FL5 as well.

That makes sense, I’m pretty sure that the Champ white on my FL5 is different from the previous Champ white. Mine definitely has a sneaky pearl in under certain light.
